Let's get right into it, okay? I'm so behind on these recaps that I have pretty much NO idea where Smackdown is coming to you from. But, as usual, Cole and Lawler are our trusty announcers.
Kurt Angle strolls out and tries to sell himself as a badass WWF Champion worthy of headlining Wrestlemania. Sorry King Kurt, you can make fun of Rock's “tick tock” speech all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that you'll be handing him the title with a ribbon wrapped around it at No Way Out. Thankfully Rock doesn't rush out and trigger some chain reaction in which half the company comes to run their mouths and drag this segment on for 45 minutes.
Survivor update: Ogakor has to come to grips with the fact that they suck in more ways than anyone thought it was possible to suck. I mean, who the HELL loses three immunity challenges in a row? Jerri is particularly pissed at Colby, since he chose to give Mitchell the boot and thus dashed their chances at an alliance, but Colby shows that he's NOBODY'S boy-toy and says he doesn't give a damn about any alliance.
Meanwhile: A recap of the very cool bit on RAW in which Austin gave poor Stephanie a Stunner and gloated at Triple H, who of course can't touch him before the pay-per-view. Ah, the good old days when Stephanie could barely sell a bitch-slap…
